I assisted my fellow students with studying in both history and English courses and also assisted a fellow student in preparing for the GRE and MTEL tests. I student taught a freshman history class during my senior year of college and have passed the history MTEL. I have written four plays, two of which have been published at JAC Publishing, and one of which has been published at Off The Wall Plays. I have also written four screenplays,one of which won the 2011 Scriptsation Best Teleplay Award, and one of which excerpts of were published in Southern New Hampshire University's Penmen Review. The majority of my writing is historical fiction, which has enabled me to utilize my current knowledge of historical periods while inspiring me to further my research of those time periods. I won the History Book Award my senior year in college and also won the Donatio Writing Award my freshman year and the Braun Writing Award during my sophomore and senior years.
